FLORIDA WINGSTOP EMPLOYEE THROWS HOT OIL ON CUSTOMER DURING HEATED ARGUMENT

A former restaurant manager in Florida is facing charges after police said she threw hot grease on customers during a dispute.

On January 28, 2024, at a Wingstop location in Port St. Lucie, Florida, an altercation broke out between a 19-year-old manager, Carnael Irene, and two female customers. Cleveland 19 News reported surveillance footage captured the heated dispute behind the counter. As tensions escalated, Irene can be seen squirting ranch dressing at the customers multiple times while another employee tried to hold her back. In response, the customers retaliated by throwing straws over the counter.

Moments later, Irene reappeared in the frame-this time holding a metal pan filled with cooking oil. She then allegedly hurled the hot oil directly at the two women.

Irene faces charges of child abuse and battery.
