The Alaska Airlines flight attendant who was fired after being with the company for just 6 months due to a viral twerking video is finally speaking out.

A few months ago, Alaska Airlines flight attendant Nelle Diala took to TikTok to celebrate the end of her probationary period at work with a little twerking video onboard an empty plane. She looked happy and had reason to celebrate. However, she may have taken things a bit too far.
The video went viral, but many criticized her for twerking on a plane which caught the attention of the Airline itself.
Diala claims that shortly after the video went viral, Alaska Airlines terminated her employment. While the airline has not publicly commented on the specific reason for her dismissal, Diala believes her social media post played a major role in the decision.
“I was just having fun,” she said. “It was an empty plane before a flight, and I didn’t think it would be an issue. I never imagined I’d lose my job over it.”
