A California father tragically died after a car driven by his teenage daughter plunged off a cliff during a driving lesson in the Mt. Baldy area of San Bernardino County.
According to ABC News, James Politoski, 64, from Laguna Beach, was teaching his 15-year-old daughter how to drive when their car veered off a winding mountain road and tumbled down an embankment. James was pronounced dead at the scene, while his daughter, who was behind the wheel, survived and was airlifted to a hospital. She is currently in stable condition.

Officials believe the crash was accidental. The narrow, curvy roads in the area are known to be hazardous, especially for new drivers. The incident is under investigation.
