A recent JetBlue flight turned chaotic when a passenger claiming to be a lawyer tried to deplane ahead of everyone else—and was loudly rejected by fellow flyers.
According to viral TikTok videos and eyewitness accounts, the woman insisted on being let off first, announcing, “I’m a lawyer,” as justification. But the passengers weren’t having it. Cries of “wait your turn!” and “everyone has somewhere to be!” filled the cabin.
Instead of backing down, the woman doubled down—hurling insults, mocking a Southern accent, and even threatening to pull out her “bar card.” When someone called her a “Karen,” she shot back, “You’re the real Karen!”
One flyer, a doctoral student, calmly corrected her grammar while others warned that her behavior was being filmed and could cost her credibility, if not her career. At one point, she was even invited to “step outside” by another angry passenger.
JetBlue hasn’t released a statement, and there’s no word on whether the woman faced any consequences beyond the embarrassment of going viral.
