MILWAUKEE DOORDASH CUSTOMER TRACKS DRIVER AND DAMAGES HER CAR

A DoorDash delivery driver is speaking out after a food order dispute allegedly turned into a dangerous and expensive encounter.

According to the driver, she was unable to complete a delivery due to access issues at the customer’s location. But instead of accepting the situation or contacting support, the customer allegedly took matters into their own hands—literally.

The driver claims the customer tracked her down, confronted her, and then proceeded to smash her car windows, causing an estimated $6,000 in damage. The incident has sparked a wave of support online, with many calling the alleged behavior “outrageous” and “completely unacceptable.”

The driver shared her story through a video, detailing the damage and emotional toll the attack had on her. While it’s unclear if police were called or if charges have been filed, the situation raises serious concerns about the safety of gig workers who face unpredictable and sometimes dangerous situations on the job.

Many are now urging DoorDash to reevaluate how they protect drivers, especially when customer disputes escalate beyond a simple refund or support ticket.
