CHICAGO’S PASTOR HANNAH SPEAKS ON THE CRITICISM OVER CHURCH ATTENDEES

Chicago megachurch pastor John Hannah is pushing back against criticism after comments surfaced suggesting that “h*es go to his church.”

Hannah, who leads New Life Covenant Church Southeast, spoke candidly about the issue during a recent service. Instead of being offended, he embraced the notion that people from all walks of life should feel welcome in his congregation.

“If they say the hoes go to my church, let them come,” Hannah told his congregation. “That’s exactly who Jesus reached — the broken, the overlooked, the ones everybody else judged. My job is not to turn them away, but to love them until they see who God made them to be.”

The pastor emphasized that his church has always been a refuge for people seeking transformation, regardless of their past or lifestyle. His response has sparked conversations online, with many praising him for creating a space where people who often feel shunned by religious communities can belong.
