FLIGHT HEADED TO LA DIVERTS AFTER PASSENGER’S RACIST RANT AND VIOLENT BEHAVIOR

Breeze Airways Flight MX704 took an unexpected detour on August 13th after a drunken man from Los Angeles went on a violent, racist tirade midair.

According to reports, 46-year-old David Leroy Carter Jr. started swinging a skateboard and yelling slurs at staff while visibly intoxicated. Flight attendants tried to restrain him — twice — but he broke free both times.

That’s when a fellow passenger, described as a large Black man named “Ray,” calmly stood up, lifted the out-of-control man under the arms like a fussy toddler, carried him back to his seat, and told him, “Sit your ass down.”

The flight was diverted to Grand Junction, Colorado, where authorities arrested Carter. The delay lasted about 7 hours, but thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.
