STEPHEN A. SMITH SPEAKS ON CHICAGO’S MAYOR MINIMIZING VIOLENCE IN THE CITY

Sports commentator Stephen A. Smith has stepped outside the sports world to share his thoughts on Chicago’s ongoing violence and the way city leadership is handling it. Smith addressed recent remarks from Mayor Brandon Johnson, accusing him of downplaying the severity of crime in Chicago.

According to Smith, minimizing the issue only makes residents feel ignored and dismissed. He stressed that Chicagoans need strong leadership that acknowledges the realities they face daily, especially with the continued rise in shootings and violent incidents across the city.
