$1OK REWARD FOR INFO IN FATAL SHOOTING OF UPS DRIVER IN CHICAGO

Chicago’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood is rallying behind the family of Michael Hunter, a 36-year-old UPS driver fatally shot early Sunday morning, according to WGN News. Community leaders and Hunter’s loved ones have announced a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible.

Police say Hunter was shot around 12:30 a.m. in the 8000 block of South Hermitage Avenue after discovering his truck had been stolen. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities have not yet identified any suspects.

Hunter’s family described him as a devoted father of three and a hardworking member of the community. They are urging anyone with information to come forward to help bring justice for Michael. Local leaders are backing the reward effort, emphasizing the need for community involvement to support law enforcement.

The Chicago Police Department’s Area Two Detectives are actively investigating the homicide. While details about potential suspects remain limited, the reward aims to encourage witnesses or anyone with knowledge of the crime to step forward.
