2 AMERICANS FOUND DEAD, 2 FOUND ALIVE IN MEXICO KIDNAPPING

Last week, 4 American citizens were kidnapped by men in Matamoros, Texas. Zindell Brown, Eric James Williams, Latavia McGee and Shaeed Woodard reportedly traveled from South Carolina to Mexico for McGee to undergo cosmetic surgery. Unfortunately while on their journey, the 4 were approached by a group of unidentified men in gear, and kidnapped.

Two of the four Americans who were kidnapped were found dead on Tuesday, while the other two were found alive, according to the governor of the border state of Tamaulipas.

At least one of the Americans died at the scene of the attack on Friday, in which gunmen shot at their car, according to a senior Mexican official who was not authorized to speak publicly.

The group of unidentified men unleashed a barrage of bullets on the Americans after they crossed the border in a white minivan.

The two survivors are now in a safe location and being offered medical attention, according to the senior Mexican official.

U.S. and Mexican authorities have been searching for the four Americans since they were kidnapped in Mexico on Friday after they crossed into the country from Texas for medical help, according to officials in both countries.

According to investigators, the group of Americans were mistaken for Haitian smugglers.
