Looks like Lil Kim’s signature move not only entertains people but saves people too. Shariah Taylor tells reporters that she saved her daughter and herself by using the iconic move to duck and dodge the bullets.

Shariah Taylor was interviewed outside her apartment complex and described what happened in those exact moments. She told the reporter that she heard a total of 7 shots and acted quickly to save her child. “I’m getting to the car,” she recalled. “I hear…at least about 7 rounds. So I’m ducking, I’m dodging, I’m ducking, I’m dodging, I’m ducking, doing Lil Kim, trying to get my baby in the car,” she continued.
Ultimately, the woman and her child were not harmed but police did find a victim who was later taken to a nearby hospital for a gunshot wound to the chest.
