A North Carolina man who was just released from prison, was charged with murder in the deaths of his mother and teen brother on Monday.
The tragic incident happened at the family home out in Wilson, NC. Wilson police responded to a home on Snowden Drive in which they found 50 year old Dana Vanessa Jenkins and 15 year old Daryl Jenkins dead at the scene.
Excited that her son was coming home, Dana posted on Facebook just how anxious she was “MY BABY HOME!! MY MFN BABY IS HOME!! LORD I THX U!!
According to ABC News, records showed that Jenkins was just released from prison on March 25th after he served more than three years for larceny of firearms, breaking and entering, and malicious conduct by a prisoner.
Further details regarding the circumstances of the deaths is unclear.
Da’ron Jenkins is being held at the Wilson County Jail under no bond. The case is still under investigation.
Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the victims’ deaths.
