PASSENGER PLANE CRASHES IN BRAZIL, AT LEAST 61 DEAD

At least 61 people were killed after a passenger plane crashed on the outskirts of São Paulo on Friday afternoon.

Above the small city of Vinhedo, Brazil, a passenger plane was falling from the sky. Footage of the tragic incident started to circulate social media.

According to CNN, Flight 2283 left Cascavel, in the Brazilian state of Paraná, and was headed to Guarulhos, in São Paulo state, according to Flightradar24 data. The plane crashed in a residential area of Vinhedo. Officials didn’t say if anyone on the ground was killed but all 57 passengers and four crew members died in the accident.

There is no confirmation of how the accident occurred, the airline said.
