THREE CHICAGO WOMEN CHARGED WITH STEALING FROM NIKE STORE IN NAPERVILLE

Three women stole more than $300 in merchandise from a Nike store in Naperville before leading police on a chase that ended in Chicago.

According to Fox 32 News, Emiaya Shannon, Shawanda Outlaw went inside the Nike outlet in Naperville on April 9th stealing about 20 items then running to the car as Martasia Barney waited for them to hop in. Despite police chasing behind them with sirens on, Barney kept going.

A Chicago Police Department helicopter was then used to help track the car, and the three women were arrested in Chicago shortly afterward.

All 3 were charged with felony burglary and felony retail theft. Barney is also charged with misdemeanor fleeing and eluding.

All three defendants were released following an initial court appearance with the condition that they not enter any Nike Store.

Their next court appearances were scheduled for May 5 before Judge Mia McPherson.
