OHIO SANITATION WORKER FINDS WANTED SUSPECT HIDING IN TRASH CAN

An Ohio sanitation worker got more than just trash on his route this week after discovering a wanted suspect hiding inside a garbage can, according to Fox News.

Authorities say the incident began when officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop. The driver allegedly refused to comply and sped off, leading police on a brief pursuit before abandoning the vehicle and running through a nearby neighborhood.

As officers searched the area, a sanitation worker collecting trash made a startling discovery. While preparing to empty a residential garbage can, the worker noticed movement inside. Upon lifting the lid, he found the suspect hiding among the trash.

Police quickly responded to the scene and took the man into custody without further incident. Officials confirmed the suspect was wanted on outstanding warrants at the time of the traffic stop.

No injuries were reported, and authorities praised the sanitation worker for immediately contacting law enforcement instead of attempting to handle the situation alone.

The suspect now faces additional charges related to fleeing police, on top of the existing warrants.
